Pamela Hovland, Senior Critic in Graphic Design
Ms. Hovland received a B.S. in design and communications from Bemidji State University and an M.F.A. from Yale University. She has worked extensively in the areas of identity, print communications, signage and screen-based design for corporations, nonprofit organizations, cultural institutions and individuals. Her work has been recognized by the AIGA, the Type Directors Club, Emigre, Print, I.D., and Eye, among others, and has been included in many exhibitions. She is a founding member of Class Action Collective, the art collective that uses design to effect social change. Hovland is a Fellow of the American Academy in Rome and a Senior Critic in graphic design at the Yale School of Art.Editor details
