Lindsey Mancini (previously Lindsey Davis) is an arts accessibility activist and digital strategist studying the essential connectedness—or disconnectedness—between art and community.
Based in New Haven, Connecticut, she currently works as assistant director of communications here at the Yale School of Art, and teaches as an adjunct professor of contemporary art at Eastern Connecticut State University. Through her lifelong practice as a chronicler of art in public spaces, she developed and directs the documentary nonprofit ArtAround, an original open-source web platform for mapping art in public spaces.
From 2015-2018 she served as the digital content editor for the Peabody Award-winning nonprofit Art21. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Visual Arts, Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Art Theory from the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts.
