Andrew Sloat is a graphic designer, filmmaker, political organizer, and former creative director at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music). He has designed dozens of books (for artists and art publishers), and has directed or co-directed commercials and short films for brands like Apple, Facebook, American Express, AT&T, and Miller Lite. His personal and professional work considers communities: how they’re formed, how they stay healthy, and how they change things. Andrew has taught at Rhode Island School of Design, Fordham University, and Yale University School of Art; he holds an MFA from Yale.
