The Yale University School of Art seeks candidates for an Associate Professor or Professor in the Department of Sculpture for a three year renewable full-time ladder appointment to begin on July 1, 2012. This individual will be fully involved with both the graduate and undergraduate programs. Teaching will include both Introductory and Intermediate Sculpture courses, as well as participation in both individual and group critiques at the graduate level. Hands on experience with a variety of form-making techniques preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate significant experience at the highest level of professional achievement in their own work including exhibition record, teaching, writing, and/or lecturing. Participation in normal committee work and other aspects of the life of the School is also required. Candidates for this job should be able to lead a department if called upon to do so.
