Professor Robert Reed Memorial Scholarship Fund
Family, students, friends and colleagues from all over the country gathered in New Haven on April 11, 2015 to celebrate Professor Robert Reed’s life. He taught at Yale for nearly fifty years, and the memories shared during the remembrance made clear the profound impact he had as a teacher, mentor and friend.
To celebrate Robert’s memory in perpetuity, the Yale School of Art invites the community to remember his legacy by contributing towards the endowed scholarship established in his honor. With this gift a classroom now holds his name. His unrivaled teaching legacy will be long remembered and honored by the students who walk through the doors to learn, challenge one another, and explore their art, both together and individually.
This fund will inspire and motivate generations of students in their pursuit and appreciation of art. Your generosity celebrates his life, and ensures that his legacy lives on in the deserving students who will benefit from this scholarship fund. We hope you will join us in this effort to help keep Robert’s memory alive for years to come.
