Patrick Killoran, Sculptor
Mr. Killoran received a B.F.A. in 1995 from Tyler School of Art. He has presented solo projects at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Connecticut; Ikon in Birmingham, United Kingdom; Sculpture Center in Long Island City and Samuel Freeman Gallery in Los Angeles. In 2015 his solo exhibition entitled Exeunt Angels was presented at Studio 10 in Brooklyn. Mr. Killoran has been included in numerous international exhibitions, including Every Day, the 1998 Biennale of Sydney; Wanås 2000 at the Wanås Foundation in Sweden; All About Laughter at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo; Behind the Green Door at Harris Lieberman Gallery in New York and The Part of the Story at the With de Witte in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He has attended residencies at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Art in General’s Eastern European Residency Exchange at the Jeleni Studio Program in the Czech Republic and Civitella Ranieri in Umbertide, Italy. Grants received include Rema Hort Mann Foundation and Penny McCall Foundation. Fellowships include the Alice Kaplan Institute for the Humanities at Northwestern University in 2010 and the Department of Fine Arts at George Washington University in 2013. Since 2014 he has been artist in residence at the Rapid Design Pivot at University of Texas at Austin. He was appointed critic in sculpture in 2012.
