NATALIE WESTBROOK
Natalie Westbrook received her BFA from The Cooper Union School of Art, her MA in Critical and Curatorial Studies from the University of Louisville, and her MFA in Painting and Printmaking from the Yale University School of Art. She has exhibited widely, including exhibitions with Freight+Volume Gallery, NYC; The Hole, Los Angeles, CA, Mindy Solomon, Miami, FL; Keijsers Koning, Dallas, TX; Everyday Mooonday, Seoul, Korea; Rarity Gallery, Mykonos, Greece; and Torch Gallery, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her work is held in private and public collections, including Markel Corporation, Red Bank, NJ; Capital One, Richmond, VA; and Art Bank Program, US Department of State, Washington, DC; and Haleakala National Park, Maui, HI. Westbrook was awarded the Haleakala Artist in Residence, and she is the recipient of the Robert Schoelkopf Memorial Travel Grant, and the Carol Schlosberg Memorial Prize for Excellence in Painting. She has been a visiting artist/critic at many schools and universities, including The University of Hartford, The University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Carnegie Mellon University. Westbrook was appointed Lecturer in painting/printmaking at Yale in 2011.Editor details
