Matt Keegan, Critic

Mr. Keegan earned a B.F.A in 1998 from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.F.A. in 2004 from Columbia University. He has exhibited nationally and internationally in group exhibitions at the New Museum, New York; Sculpture Center, New York; Presentation House, Vancouver; The School of the Art Institute Sullivan Galleries, Chicago; Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami; and Henry Art Gallery, Seattle. He has had solo exhibitions at D’Amelio Terras in New York City and Altman Siegel in San Francisco, which represent his work. He has taught as an adjunct professor at Columbia University School of the Arts, Parsons the New School for Design, and California College of the Arts. Mr. Keegan was appointed a core critic in painting at Yale in 2010.
