Lisa Yuskavage, Painter

Ms. Yuskavage received her B.F.A. from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, in 1984, and her M.F.A. from the Yale School of Art in 1986. She has been the subject of solo exhibitions at a number of prominent institutions worldwide, including the Museo Tamayo Arte Contempor├íneo, Mexico City; Royal Academy of Arts, London; Centre dÔ??Art Contemporain, Geneva; and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia. Her work is represented in major museum collections, including the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; The Museum of Modern Art, New York; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. She lives and works in New York. Her work is represented by David Zwirner in New York and greengrassi in London. Ms. Yuskavage was appointed critic at Yale in 2011.
