Karin Fong, Lecturer

Karin Fong directs and designs for film, television, and environments. Before joining Imaginary Forces in 1994,Karin received a B.A. in art from Yale and worked at WGBH Boston as an animator. Her reel includes the opening sequences for the feature films Charlotte’s Web, Zoom, Ray, The Cat in the Hat, and Charlie’s Angels. Broadcast projects include pieces for MTV, Cartoon Network, and the Discovery Channel. Her work with WGBH on PBS’s Masterpiece Theatre earned her an Emmy for title design in 2001. She has also directed commercials for Honda, Janus, Chevrolet, and Herman Miller. Other work includes art installations and experience design pieces for DJs Sasha and John Digweed, Wynn Las Vegas, Fremont Street in Las Vegas, and the LA Opera.
