Forest Young, Graphic Designer

Mr. Young received a B.S. in 2000 from Cornell University and an M.F.A. in graphic design in 2006 from Yale University, where he was awarded the Mark Whistler Prize. He is the Head of Design for Wolff Olins San Francisco, where he leads design initiatives for the world’s most influential companies. Prior to joining Wolff Olins, Forest was the Executive Creative Director in West’s SoHo studio, leading design across a portfolio of early stage companies. He recently served on the Board of Directors for AIGA NY, and earlier in his career, led design at Interbrand NY, supporting the tech accounts AT&T, YP, Vine, Google and Microsoft. His work has been exhibited at MoMA, the Royal Ontario Museum and at numerous international biennials. He is the recipient of design accolades including the Cannes Gold Design Lion and the ADC Black Cube. Mr. Young was appointed critic in graphic design in 2013.
