Chris Martin, Visiting Critic

Mr. Martin attended Yale University from 1972 – 1975. He received a BFA in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts in 1992. Mr. Martin lives and works in Brooklyn New York. He is represented by Mitchell-Innes & Nash Gallery in New York and Daniel Weinberg Gallery in Los Angeles. He has been exhibiting nationally and internationally since 1988. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2002. He has received two fellowships from the National Endowment For The Arts, a New York Foundation Fellowship, and a Pollack-Krasner Foundation Award. Mr. Martin’s writings and interviews have appeared in The Brooklyn Rail. Mr. Martin was appointed critic at Yale in 2005.
