SCULPTURE, Art 660 a, Writing for Artists
Hammond 204 T 7.00-9.30pm

This seminar is designed to help graduate students refine their writing skills and develop a greater understanding of how their use of language relates to their studio practice. Students create and discuss their own writing in the form of statements, reviews, proposals, scripts, fiction, and autobiographical sketches. Limited class time is also dedicated to discussing published writings by established artists. Meets biweekly for 1.5 credits. The first meeting is 10/2/07, and the next 3 meetings will occur on 10/16, 10/23, and 10/30. Michael Queenland.
