FILM/VIDEO/INTERDISCIPLINARY Art 442 , Advanced Film Writing and Directing

A yearlong workshop designed primarily for art and film studies majors making senior projects. Each student writes and directs a short fiction film. The first term focuses on the screenplay, production schedule, story boards, casting, budget, and locations. In the second term students rehearse, shoot, edit, and screen the film. Enrollment limited to eight. Priority to art and film studies majors. Lab/materials fee: $150. Prerequisite: ART 341b. Jonathan Andrews
