Exploration of both the technical and conceptual aspects of digital photography. A rage of tools is used, including advanced film scanning, working with RAW files, masks, compositing and grayscale, and color inkjet printing. Students produce original work, with special attention to ways in which their Course Descriptions 33 technical decisions can clarify their artistic intentions. Materials fee: $150. Prerequisite: Art 138a or b. Joseph Maida
