SCULPTURE 122b, Introductory Sculpture: Digital

An introductory sculpture course with a primary focus on object making and the incorporation of various techniques and processes. The course will include workshops focused on digital camera use, video, scanning, basic editing, working with raw files, retouching, color management and ink jet printing. The class will also introduce students to woodworking and welding. Group discussions and critiques, video screenings, readings and workshops complement the studio work. The shops and the studio will be available during class time and during days and evenings throughout the week. Enrollment limited to twelve. Materials fee: $75. Sandra Burns
